Rachel and James chose to do a pre-event “engagement” photo session at Stoney Creek before their wedding day. Their ceremony was in the morning, so they wanted extra time to relax and enjoy the day without rushing for photos. By shooting ahead of time, we were able to capture golden hour portraits that wouldn’t have been possible on the wedding day.
The session took place on an overcast spring day, but everything was green and in bloom, giving us a soft, natural backdrop. We also had a few surprise guests! The venue’s dog decided she wanted to join in, so we let her be part of the fun. And just behind the swing, a curious cow walked up to the fence, adding a perfect country touch to their Stoney Creek session.
