Straughan Photography had the honor of shooting a beautiful proposal and engagement at the JW Marriott Resort and Spa! It is a perfect place to propose and doing it over the holidays made it even better. We are so excited to photograph this surprise engagement. Dilshan had contacted me the week before and was doing some good groundwork with Rishi and Tuscan Rose to make everything perfect for Sahis. This sweet couple was so happy and Sahis was so surprised. The whole family waited until she was on her way then headed over to the Toro, which is a nice restaurant on the north side of San Antonio to surprise her with all the family and friends.
I loved seeing the happiness not only when Rishi proposed but also the romance for the engagement session after he proposed. What a great moment! After the engagement session, the entire family was waiting at the restaurant to congratulate them. After all the hugs from her mom and dad, we took some time to take photographs with all the friends who had come to the dinner.
What a great night, I am so grateful to have met them and am looking forward to their wedding!
