]INTIMATE FALL WEDDING AT THE MILLTOWN HISTORIC DISTRICT IN NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS | NEW BRAUNFELS WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Bridal Gown: Olivia Grace Bridal        Caterer: River City Catering

What a wonderful day to photograph a wedding! Laurel and Marcus were so much fun and their wedding was beautiful. When Laurel and Marcus reached out to me from Hawaii, I knew right away that they were a special couple. It is easy for couples to get caught up with the details that a wedding day brings, but not for these two. They were getting married, and that’s all that mattered. The love they have for each other is so apparent throughout the planning process, and it is an incredible honor to capture it! They took it all in stride when they had to reschedule their original April wedding to October due to the pandemic.

It was the perfect day for a wedding at Milltown Historic District Wedding in New Braunfels. I was in the Grand Ballroom with Laurel as she was getting ready to put her dress on. She was so excited for her father to see her. It was all we talked about as we were prepping. I love the photo of her peeping out the window just so excited to see him.  When the moment came, I can tell you that I was moved to tears which does not happen often. They cried together, it was so sweet.

The Wedding

Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Laurel and Marcus said “I do” on the banks of the Guadalupe River. Family and friends came together to make their day so special, especially the bride’s brother who officiated the ceremony making it even more special.  I love their natural theme with each of the bridesmaids holding an element of the earth. One held a picture of water, a peacock feather for air, a burning sage bundle for fire, and a crystal for the earth.

The night continued with laughter, happy tears, and special moments. I really loved the shark groom’s cake in honor of their time in Hawaii. This family really work hard to bring this wedding all together I am so happy to have been invited to be a part of it.

Laurel and Marcus, thank you for sharing your love story with me. It was an honor to document it!
