HINDU ENGAGEMENT AT COMMUNITY PARK – SAN ANTONIO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Location: Socoma Neighborhood Center Catering supplies and Flowers: Costco
Malini and Shane’s traditional engagement ceremony was special and unique for me to photograph. It is always so much fun to do something new and experience a new cultural tradition, it was perfect. It was a short Hindu engagement ceremony, including a couple of prayers and some singing followed by a luncheon. They kept it low-key so they did not upstage the actual wedding, which is in until 2023. I really enjoyed this unique experience. Right after that, we got some group pictures. Shane and Malini were a little camera-shy, so we put an emphasis on candid shots of the ceremony and group portraits. After that, we did get in some very cute couple portraits which I loved!
We started their session at the hedge row for some bright shots at the front. Then, we went to the back by under the big oaks to get some natural-looking portraits. It is beautifully backlit and is a great backdrop. I was sure to get some individual portraits for both of them. Malini made her dress for the day and I really wanted to showcase it! After that, we walked back to the building and we finished off with a few more group shots.
I am so grateful for being chosen to be a small part of their wedding story and cannot wait for the wedding in 2023! Congratulations Malini and Shane, I cannot wait to see you get married!
