Lauren an Jeff tie the knot

Lauren just graduated for the University of Texas in Austin all the while planning a beautiful wedding at the Koehler House in San Antonio. The wedding was held in the late afternoon on the grounds of the turn of the century home. The bride chose teal and white as her colors with lovely hints of pink.

Jeff looked so in love when Lauren walked around the corner in her pretty beaded dress that was gathered on the side.  The two exchanged vows giggling and then lit their unity candle. As they were announced the couple raised their hands in triumph, they did it!

The reception was very elegant, it boasted arrangements with peonies, stock, and lilies that were stacked high in tall vases. Each table was lit with the flickering glow of candle light while the guest enjoyed chicken picatta with capers and artichokes, Greek salad, summer squash and fresh rolls. All this delicious food was provided by Spice of Life Catering.

The bride and groom provided three cakes for the guest to enjoy; a traditional white wedding cake, a chocolate cake and then of course a red velvet bleeding zombie cake. The last of which was a surprise to all the guests! I believe my favorite portion of the reception was when the couple had all their wedding part on the floor to dance and then “Rick Rolled” them!

This was a fun and energetic wedding and we were so happy to be apart of their special day, congratulations to Lauren and Jeff!
