ENGAGEMENT SESSION AT CIBOLO NATURAL AREA – SAN ANTONIO ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Location: Cibolo Nature Area in Boerne
Jennifer and Heath’s engagement was at the Cibolo Nature Area in Boerne. It was the perfect morning session. I cannot wait for the wedding at Sandy Oaks Ranch! They decided to go a little classic with their outfits so the session had a traditional but modern vibe. I like the red dress that Jennifer chose for her session but the second white sweater was perfect with the bright early spring light.
We started their session at the big oak grove near the building at the front of the park. The park was bustling that day so we worked a little harder to find quiet spots. Morning is a great time to photograph there since there are more walkers and fewer photographers. Next, we headed to the tall grass in the full sun for some brighter shots. After that, we headed down to the river to shoot through the trees. I loved the sunlight light reflected off the water.
We finished our first loop of the park and Jennifer changed outfits. we got some really pretty high-key portraits in the grass. The tones all matched and made for some lovely high-key portraits. Next, we went back down to the water to finish out the session in the shade. I enjoyed this session and cannot wait for Jennifer’s bridal session next.
