CATHOLIC WEDDING WITH A WINTER RECEPTION
Location: St Marks Catholic Church and Canyon Springs Golf Course

I loved working with Clarissa and Derek for this beautiful wedding at St Mark’s Catholic Church with the reception at Canyon Springs Golf Club in San Antonio, Texas. Thankfully the beautiful weather held for their big day after a few days of having really cold weather and clouds.
Clarissa got ready in the intimate space for the bride and it was perfect. I used the bricks on the outside of the building to capture the gown, bouquet, and details. Once ready it was off to the ceremony. Having a wedding during a pandemic can be challenging but this sweet couple was so awesome as challenges came up.
After the ceremony, we went to Canyon Springs to do the couple and family portraits. It was so much fun to take pictures in front of their classic gold Rolls Royce. Then we hit the pasture for some Longhorn love! That big boy was just as photogenic as a steer can be. Finally, we headed down to the waterfall for some romantic portraits. We had sunset portraits on top of the course, so perfect!
Their reception was so much fun and had all the fixin’s that make a reception perfect. I loved the Christmas decor they included that added a special nod to the holiday season. I can tell you I really love Christmas weddings, I got married in December and think nothing could be better.
