Beautiful Tradition: Carolina and David’s San Antonio Wedding at San Fernando Catherdral – San Antonio Wedding Photographer
Wedding and Reception Location: San Fernando Cathedral and Cafe
Carolina and David’s wedding was at San Fernando Cathedral and Cafe in the heart of San Antonio. What a sweet and kind family, and fun wedding this was. The photographer, Chrystina Straughan, met up with Carolina in the getting-ready room before the traditional Catholic mass. It was the perfect time to take some very cute getting-ready photos. She got all her details like the bridal bouquet, garters, dress, veil, and shoes documented. After finishing the portraits the bride headed over to San Fernando Cathedral to tie the knot!
The Ceremony
The Ceremony was traditional and very sweet. Carolina and David have a very strong faith in the Lord and also in each other. Their wedding vows were so moving and the love that they have for one another really just shows on their faces. After the ceremony, we finished the family and bridal party we headed outside for some romantic couple portraits then headed over to the San Fernando Cathedral Cafe’ to start the reception. It was an intimate reception with just family and close friends. The color scheme was teal blue and light blue. The Cafe’ has a wall of windows that made photography so beautiful.
After dinner, first faces, and toasts we headed back out to the front of San Fernando Cathedral to see the cool laser show that they do during the summer. We got some really fun photos with the lights going off behind them. At the end of the night, the couple left to bubbles and a custom car. It was a really great wedding day and we were so happy to capture it for the new couple. Congratulations Caroling and David!
