Bonnie and Joe’s San Antonio wedding was held at the beautiful Our Lady of the Lake University, Scared Heart Chapel with their reception at the St. Anthony Hotel. It was a perfect day to have this little family become united.
We started with the bride getting ready in the bridal suite with Bonnie, her mother, bridesmaids, and her daughter. We had so much fun with the bride, they were so sweet. After she dressed we headed out to do the first look and work on family and bridal party portraits. Joe was so sweet when he first saw Bonnie. He teared up and all the family got to see how in love they were. We finished up portraits with them and headed out to the church for the ceremony.
The Scared Heart Chaple is the mother chapel at Our Lady of the Lake University and the ceremony was a traditional catholic mass. After the ceremony, we finished up the portraits that we did not get to do beforehand. Then we made some dramatic couple portraits and headed back to the Hotel.
THE RECEPTION
The reception was beautiful! Blume Haus and the Coordinator, Brandi, did an amazing job transforming the Anacacho Ballroom. It was a combination of dark and light with a very romantic mood, it vibed with the hotel’s aesthetic. The night was filled with love, laughter, and dancing. It was perfect. My favorite moment was when Joe danced with Ana. It was so sweet for daddy and daughter.
We ended the night with a private last dance and a tunnel of love down Peacock Alley. I am so happy to have been a part of their wedding day! Congratulations to Bonnie and Joe, it was the best day. Thanks so much for choosing me to be a part of something so special!
