Haley and Conner’s hill country wedding was at Elm Pass Woods right in the heart of Comfort, TX. It was a Texas-style boho wedding dream, I loved their style!
Elm Pass Woods is a cute little wedding venue with cabins for getting ready. We started in the bride’s cabin where the coordinator, Alex, had put all the details for the wedding day on the chalkboard wall. It ended up being the perfect spot to photograph Haley’s details. After she dressed, we headed to the front porch for the first look with the groom. It was a really sweet moment. I loved getting all the hi-key portraits after we finished it.
Next, we did some family photos and then headed back down for the ceremony to begin. Their childhood pastor officiated the ceremony for them and it was so personal and loving. During the ceremony the groom and his guys got the groom brushed up and ready then did a little huddle to get all the details right. It was so funny! the Kissed sealed the deal and then we were off to the reception.
The Reception
The reception was so much fun. There was dancing, singing, and chatting. we took a little break in the middle to climb up the mountain to do some sunset photos and it so so dramatic for portraits. At the end of the night, the DJ got the crowd going with wedding day karaoke and we ended with a spectacular smoke bomb and sparkler ext. It was a fantastic night and I am so happy to have been a part of the wedding day! Congratulations you two! So happy to have been a part of your wedding day!
